The Meticulous Manicure

This is the most luxurious and complete manicure you will ever receive.  We start with an assessment of your individual needs and continue with a shaping of your natural nail, sealing the free edges naturally to help prevent peeling, splitting and cracking. We follow the shaping with a cuticle treatment to soften the dead cuticle releasing it from the living tissue leaving your nails looking fresh and clean.  We continue with a thick, luxuriant hand scrub that gently polishes and super-conditions the skin. It contains a blend of mineral salts, refined sugar cane, jojoba soft-beads and sweet almond oil. We deeply moisturize  with a lustrous, shimmering hand masque that deeply conditions and refines the skin, leaving it with a healthy glow. It contains a moisturizing blend of sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E. After applying the masque, we  then apply a silky-smooth hand and body lotion from the elbow to the fingertips that quickly absorbs into the skin leaving a soft, satin feel and a light almond fragrance. It also contains a whipped blend of jojoba oil and vitamin E.  A polish color of your choice is professionally applied. You can choose a 7 day polish or a 14+ day "no-chip" gel polish.

The Essential Manicure

This is a wonderful manicure when time is an issue.  We start with an assessment of your individual needs and continue with a shaping of your natural nail, sealing the free edges naturally to help prevent peeling, splitting and cracking. We follow the shaping with a cuticle treatment to soften the dead cuticle releasing it from the living tissue leaving your nails looking fresh and clean.  It is a complete detailing of the nail plate and cuticle area, followed by a thorough massage of the arm and hand with a silky-smooth hand and body lotion from the elbow to the fingertips that quickly absorbs into the skin leaving a soft, satin feel and a light almond fragrance loaded with a whipped blend of jojoba oil and vitamin E. Finally, your nails are polished to perfection with a color of your choice in either a 7+ day polish or a 14+ day gel polish.

This treatment is like no other available in professional salons.  Your nail is like a sponge. It is porous and has internal weaknesses that are not visible to the naked eye. Depending on what you do in your daily activities, your hobbies as well as your health, your nail may be more porous, weak, brittle or even, too flexible.  This treatment is designed to treat the nail, by creating a network that toughens the nail plate by fusing together the upper layers, providing internal toughening and protection.. Once this treatment has penetrated the nooks and crannies in the upper layers of the nail plate with the aid of heat and penetrating oils, it fills in the porous areas, strengthening the weak areas, filling in cracks, gaps, ridges, and repairing splits in the nail. This treatment can be used as a precursor to any artificial enhancement that you desire to maintain by building up the integrity and strength of the nail  aiding in the protection and adding toughness to the natural nail plate. It makes your manicures last longer and your enhancement services perform better.  The initial treatment cost $15.00.  Subsequent treatments done regularly as scheduled are $10.

Enhancements are perfect for ladies who have a hard time growing and maintaining their natural nails, It could be that they are thin and tear; maybe they are hard and crack or splinter; or perhaps you are unhappy with the natural shape and contour of your natural nails. Enhancements are perfect for any situation. They are even perfect for a woman who has beautiful nails and just wants to add strength in an overlay to her naturally beautiful nails.

We start by assessing the natural nail and discussing the end look you desire for your enhanced nails.   We take into account your personal daily activities and lifestyle to recommend an enhancement that will be pleasing to you, healthy for your hands and long lasting.

In contrast to popular belief, nail enhancements are not unhealthy for your nails. As a matter of a fact, when applied properly by a trained licensed technician, enhancements have the ability to make the natural nail better; or enhancing its appearance, beauty and strength!! There are many factors that can contribute to a nail being damaged due to having an artificial nail applied.  A few of those contributing factors are improper nail plate preparation by using heavy coarse files and filing away at the layers of the natural nail plate, leaving it thin and weak. Using products that are harmful to the natural nail plate and surrounding live tissue is also a well known factor that leads to nail damage. Many salons use these inferior products because they are very inexpensive, even though they are aware that these products are inferior, contain harmful ingredients and are not sanctioned (illegal) for use in the United States due to their harmful attributes.

My studio also has a state of the art air filtration system that removes not only the fumes, vapors and dust that can become a nuisance but also purifies the air with 3 specialized filters removing germs and bacteria from the air as well.  There is also a dust extraction system at the table to collect dust and small particles at the source.

The Rebalance or "Fill-in"

This service is performed every 14 days and is designed to "rebalance" the artificial enhancement from cuticle to tip. It ensures the integrity of the enhancement and rebuilds the design on each nail for beauty, strength and longevity.  Any broken nails will incur an addition charge of $8 per broken nail.  1 broken nail is included with a 2 week maintenance.

No broken nails are included with any other maintenance over 2 weeks. 

Long nails over 1/2 inch past the nail bed incur a $10 charge as they take longer and require more maintenance.

Waterless Services: 

All of our manicure and pedicure services are "Waterless".  We have found through education and experience, that water promotes the growth of bacteria and other unwanted organisms that can be unhealthy and do not ensure a clean and healthy salon environment.  Water is also a great dehydrator. It removes natural beneficial oils and plumps the skin making it difficult to determine which tissue is live and which is non living for removal. Polish lasts much longer and the pedicure services are far more effective without the use of water soaks.  Once you experience our waterless services, you will never want to go back to a traditional water soaked service. We guarantee it!
